A declaration that became a movement
Inspired by a declaration
Bharat Shakti was formed at Ramgarh Shekhawati by the women of Shekhawati — for protecting, maintaining and uplifting the heritage city of Ramgarh Shekhawati.
It was inspired by a declaration made by the women during the Ramgarh Shekhawati event of the Historic Cities Series at Ramgarh Fort — in the presence of the UDH Minister, Rajasthan — to keep their cities and heritage towns clean.
Initiated by Shruti Foundation and INTACH Shekhawati Chapter in collaboration with the Nagar Palika, the heritage cleanliness drive commenced just four days later on 9th November 2025.

Teaching the next generation to own their heritage
Students from S.D. Memorial Senior Secondary School — Ramgarh Shekhawati — have joined the Bharat Shakti drives, taking pledges to be custodians of their city's heritage.
When young people sweep the same grounds their grandparents walked, they are not just cleaning stone — they are inheriting pride. Bharat Shakti is building a generational chain of heritage ownership.
